With chronic or stubborn cases, physical therapy as a option. In rare cases corrective surgery may also be used.

Whatever the recommended treatment you have to be disciplined in your efforts to follow the prescribed treatment and not fall back into the routine that brought on your pain to begin with.

Repetitive stress injury can be stubborn but it is very treatable.
